Cuba
An attractive destination
Cuba is an island and also a state. Besides the main island, more than 4000 small islands belong to Cuba. The northwest borders on the Gulf of Mexico, the rest of the north coast on the Atlantic Ocean, and the south coast on the Caribbean Sea. Main destinations on the island are the bubbling capital Havana, the region around Pinar del Río and Viñales Valley, Trinidad, Santiago de Cuba and the pearl in the very east, Baracoa. Mostly one undertakes a whole island tour. The enormous size is often underestimated by tourists and visitors - as well as the associated driving times. The cultural and scenic diversity of this large island offers a wide range of cultural, recreational and sporting activities. Accordingly, Cuba is also popular with all water sports enthusiasts, divers and of course sailors!
