ROUND TRIP HAVANA AND CENTRAL CUBA CUBA IN 8 DAYS
Individual travel planning
The planning of the round trips is individual, concerning the duration and the choice of cities and regions. Your interests and enthusiasm for culture, nature and beach shape the planning. The tours take place with driver and guide and are possible in comfortable private accommodations as well as in hotels. The planning is laid out in such a way that you can also see one or the other on site, which perhaps did not find its way directly into the itinerary, but can be spontaneously arranged with the tour guide on site. For families or small groups we offer round trips with several Classic Cars.
Experience cultural diversity and contact with locals
The charm of the provinces of the country lies in the local cultural customs of the big city and small town to the rural village. Special local events can be checked by your guide and visited spontaneously. A visit to Cuban stores or a weekly market will show the everyday life of the Cubans. On our trips you will also experience the original Cuba, away from the showcase projects, and gain contact with the local population.
Nature experience in Cuba
For nature lovers, Cuba offers national parks, biosphere reserves, protected natural landscapes and fauna sanctuaries. These areas allow hikes of different difficulty levels and offer a contrast to the cultural life in the cities. For snorkeling and diving certainly interesting are stays at coastal regions and islands such as the bay "Bahía de Cochinos" on the south coast off Cienfuegos or the island Cayo Blanco off the coast of Trinidad.

Day 2
Walk in Habana ViejaIn the morning, a guided tour of the historic Habana Vieja, where 500 years of architecture can be admired and which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1982 due to its unique ensembles. The squares of Old Havana rival the piazzas of Rome, here, for example, the wonderful Plaza Vieja, the Plaza de San Francisco next to the old Stock Exchange and the Plaza de Armas, built in 1519. Visit to the former governor's palace Palacio de los Capitanes. Of course we will also stop at the "Bodeguita del Medio", one of the favorite bars of the famous writer Ernest Hemingway, where you can enjoy a fresh Cuban beer or a typical Cuban cocktail. Visit of the Capitolio, which has been wonderfully restored - especially in the interiors - and is reminiscent of the White House in Washington.
Cruising through havana - highlights of the city
You will experience highlights of the city, such as the imposing view from the high statue of Christ, which is enthroned on the opposite shore of the bay, to the city of Havana lying at its feet. From the great fortress of La Cabaña, you can see all the way to the coast and the sea in front of the city. The drive along the famous Malecón promenade offers the panorama of old, classical buildings and, on the other side, the vastness of the sea. The boulevard Quinta Avenida, which leads through the quarter Miramar where most of the international Embassys are placed, conveys a different atmosphere of the metropolis and the mansions in the district Cubanacan, a prestigious quarter with stately homes, even reminds of boulevards in Beverly Hills.
Continue to "Fusterlandia" in the Jaimanitas district: Cuban artist José Fuster has redesigned his house and parts of the neighborhood with mosaics and sculptures - an explosion of colors and shapes! Afterwards the trip leads through the green city park around the river Rio Almendares and past the huge cemetery Necropolis Colon, where numerous, great personalities have found their last resting place. The impressive Plaza de la Revolución with huge portraits of the national war heroes Ernesto "Che" Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos is bordered on one side by a 109m high Obelisk in honor of the national hero, the poet and writer José Martí.
Day 3
Visit to a cigar factoryIn the morning visit to a cigar factory. The sorting of the tobacco leaves, which are delivered from the plantation, as well as the further steps in the process of processing are vividly explained and shown. Watch employees rolling the various cigar formats, the color sorting and selection of the decorative cedar boxes to the finished product for the cigar lover.
